Why do I need a Google account?

How do I arrange my Home screen?

Your Home screen is like a computer’s desktop. It’s where you gather and organize your most important apps for quick and easy access.

You can place individual app shortcuts, app folders, and widgets (mini app extensions) on your Home screen. Take a look at this example:

Place an app shortcut on your Home screen.

  1. Tap the Apps icon   to open the app drawer.
  2. Tap and hold an app until you are taken to the Home screen.
  3. Drag the app to an open space, or place it on top of another app to group them into an app folder.
Place a widget on your home screen. 

  1. Tap and hold an open space on the Home screen for 2 seconds.
  2. Tap the widgets icon     
  3. Tap and hold any widget until you are brought back to the Home screen.
  4. Drag the widget to an open area on the screen.
